The next time you drive by that car dealership with the hundred foot flag pole, look up and be sure to notice, the graceful maneuvers of the flag. Some days she looks like a feather blown about with every wind of doctrine. Some days she looks as though she is shadow boxing, ducking and dodging, throwing out violent jabs and uppercuts, popping and kicking with each gust of wind. Millions salute her, pledge allegiance to her; thousands lay to rest under her, while their loved ones cry over her. So, ask yourself what is so special about this dyed nylon rectangle with a bunch of symbolic stars and stripes sewn on it? What is the flag’s purpose? What exactly does it represent? Well, the simple answer is, “too each his own”. For me, SHE represents my entitlement to raise my children in the admonition of the Lord without controversy. For me, she gives me the right to pursue happiness and the privilege to enjoy it once I catch it. For me, she symbolizes a solid foundation in which my family can build a life that’s more than abundant. For me, the flag’s purpose is to build unity in the bond of peace. She also functions as a warning to others who want to steal that peace. For me, the flag represents the finer things of life… Football, Twinkies (with extra yellow #5) and Harley Davidson. As I said earlier, “too each his own” my lifestyle is a little more fast paced then that guy who wrote that patriotic song …baseball, apple pie and Chevrolet.

The federal government already gave us our answer to my original question; Is The American Flag Alive?

Every guy, no matter how old, wants to be cool. Then he has kids. Before long, he is changing poopy diapers, wiping snotty noses with his bare hand and listening to Sesame Street Songs all the way up to the cottage. This will suck the cool out of him like a hoover on a dustbunny. And before he gets a chance to start building up his Coolness Reserves his kids start to get older and realize what a GOMER they have for a father.They will hold this opinion until they have children of their own. The problem is that there is always someone older around to impress them.

My Kids:”Great Grandpa lived in Siberia and rode horses everywhere. Did you?”

Me:”Well, no, not exactly.”

My Kids:”Grandpa was born during the war and built his own race car to drive
around in. Did you?”

Me:”Alright. Time for bed.”

Luckily for me, my kids discovered something the other day that has set me apart and made me cooler than my father and grandfather combined. Yes, they now realize that in my youth I lived life on the edge. I took it to the limit. I laughed in the face of certain death.

My Son:”So, when you were little, you NEVER wore a seat belt AT ALL?”

Me:”That’s right. And on special occasions, my dad would let me ride up in
the back window.”

My Son:”Did you die?”

Me:”A couple of times.”

My Son:”WOW!!”

Me:”Plus, when we had to take the truck to town, we’d get to ride in the
BACK!”

My Daughter:”Did you wear your helmet?”

Me:”Didn’t have a helmet, even for our bikes. Sometimes we’d land on our heads and have to get up and keep riding. That’s how tough we were.”

My Son:”Were you even tough as a baby?”

Me:”HA! Let me tell you something. When I was a baby, the bars on my crib were spaced just wide enough to get your head through…but not wide enough to get it back.”

My Daughter:”Did your parents sue the crib company?”

Me:”Nah. They just let me learn a Valuable Lesson. There was a lot of that going on back then.”

My Son:”Didn’t you ever get sick?”

Me:”No. We could drink straight from the garden hose or share a pop between
four or five of us. In a glass bottle, no less. No harm done.”

My Daughter:”Wow. What a life!” Me:”No carseats, no sunscreen and every toy a certified choking hazard. It was pretty much heaven.”

My Son:”Mom, I wish I was around when daddy was little.”

My Wife:”Why? What’s he been telling you this time?”

My Daughter:”Just about how he got to be so cool. Did you ever wonder?”

My Wife:”Honestly, that was one question I’ve never asked myself.”

So, just think of it like this, pretend you’re Xbox 360 is alive and it needs to breath fresh air just like you do, if you can, you’ll prevent this error from happening 9/10 times.

3 Red Flashing Red Lights Means: Ahhh… The 3 rings of death, were all familiar with this particular problem and what it actually means is hardware inside the console has malfunctioned. Microsoft stated in a press release less than a year ago that this particular problem is also caused by overheating overtime and what happens is, there’s soldering around the GPU processor and when it heats up, that soldering melts and breaks a connection, stopping the communication between the main circuit board the GPU processor.

The best way to prevent this error from happening is to not leave your console on for more than 4hrs at a time, let the Xbox 360 take a break once in a while.

4 Red Lights Flashing: This problem is also related to hardware failure and can be pin pointed to either, disc tray errors, unplayable disc errors, or some other type of common hardware failure.

Either way, it’s the worst because it means a number of different problems that you have to rule out in order to find the actually problem and that’s where some people give up, but by going by other peoples Xbox 360 problems, you can browse around online, typing into Google or Yahoo the exact symptom, such as; what happen before the problem occurred, is there any noise, a disc stuck in the drive and so on.
