Do you feel as though life has dealt you a poor hand? Are you dissatisfied in your career and feel that you are worth more? Do you feel unappreciated, unfulfilled and unhappy? Do your efforts remain unnoticed by your superiors even though you are jumping through hoops to impress them? In a way, this is good as you are listening to your intuition, that little voice that tells you that things are not quite right. These feelings are probably vibrating across the length and breadth of thousands of offices up and down the country. But how can you alleviate these feelings of woe?
Time Management is a concept which many have heard of but few take the time to investigate. However, those who do let their inquisitiveness get the better of them and partake in such a course, usually stand out from the crowd as they have that added edge over others which separates the winners from the losers. Not only is this portrayed in their work life but also in their private lives. The structured technique of using time to its advantage is often elevated in public service, studies, sports and personal achievements.
By implementing even just the basic techniques such as time keeping and punctuality, those who have studied a reputable time management course have that winning streak working with them professionally. These positive skills are reflected back in the form of self confidence and high self-esteem which makes functioning under any circumstances a natural and easy ability even when faced with extreme pressure, time constraints and limited resources.
The dominating factor which manifests from all of these achievements is the ability to manage a workload. Be prepared to wave goodbye to all of those limiting self-doubt beliefs which only serve to make you feel bad about yourself. When you feel deflated you are likely to wind down and work half-heartedly on a project. This then spirals into feelings of guilt for dragging out a situation and low-productivity in comparison to the amount of hours that you have wasted. By combining a balance of hard work and respite you are more likely to achieve the desired results without being over-worked or feeling too guilty for procrastinating. Research suggests that 80% of total achievements are generated by using only 20% of focused effort.
More money for less work
The aim of the game is to work as little as possible for the biggest pay outs. We are all limited by the number of hours we have in a day so it makes logical sense to focus on tasks which bring us the most financial rewards. Many people overlook this point and simply focus on tasks which look the easiest but actually pay out the least. Others learn the hard way, by working diligently through a task and then discovering that the pay outs were less than the amount of effort which was put in. Giving tasks a hierarchy of importance will help to sift the wheat from the chaff and is bound to earn you some positive feedback from the boss.
However, when prioritizing tasks, ensure that you make a fairly educated assessment as to how long they will take to complete. This is a common pitfall for workers who are new to a project and unsure as to the turnaround time, especially when they are likely to come up against unexpected hurdles along the way.
A lack of understanding is also a major contributor to poor time management. So often, people volunteer to take on tasks which on the surface seem like an easy option. It is not until the job is underway that they realize they may have bitten off more than they can chew. Stress along with problems which take time to resolve add up to a shoddy work performance and poor results. Factor in time before starting a task to fully understand the extent of the work involved. Make a structured list of tasks which you expect to achieve, estimate a time limit for each one and a bit extra for unforeseen events. Although it may sound a little contradictory to add time to a project when the entire aim is to save time, a job completed in a realistic timescale will raise the moral, earn you some brownie points and make every challenge pay the dividends that you so rightly deserve.
Never underestimate time for it can run away with you and cause you to let people down (including yourself), miss deadlines and even put your fellow colleagues under pressure if they are relying on you. To cut a long story short, a little fore-planning and complete understanding of a project and its requirements are the essential ingredients to successfully completing any workload.
Remember… the one thing you cannot recycle is wasted time.

Use tools in managing your time, set your goals, plan your schedules, evaluate your priorities, make a routine, and provide time limits for doing tasks are the helpful tips that you can do to efficiently manage your time.
Getting organized is one of the initial results when people begin following an efficient time management habit. You will realize that you can do more productive things with your time once time management techniques are consistently implemented within your schedule. You will always have enough time when you master the skills of delegating your priorities and resources well. Below are some tips that you can follow to start learning time management skills for a productive and effective habit:
Use tools to manage your time
Time management tools are very effective items that can guide you in following your schedule. These tools include calendar software programs, organizer, clock or watches, calendar, and even the simple post-it papers which are used to remind you of the things that you should do. By having these time management tools, you can easily be reminded of the things that you should do and always get ahead of your daily activities.
Set your goals, plan your schedules
To be able to start building your time management skills, it is helpful to plan ahead and set your goals. Have a calendar or jot down in your daily planner or organizer the things that you will be doing. This will help you know your available time resources for that week. It will help you know what you will do to be more productive during free times. Setting your goals and planning ahead will not only help you improve your time management skills. It will also allow you to be well prepared and ready at all times.
Evaluate your priorities
For you to easily plan ahead, evaluate first your priorities. Decide the more important things to do, and know your responsibilities well. By doing so, you can easily determine your priorities. Also, learn to say “no” and decline invitations if you have already set your mind at following your priorities. This will help you stay on track as you develop a strong foundation of time management skills.
Make a routine
Establishing a routine is setting a disciplined and established focus on your goals. It does not mean that your life will be dull and mundane. Instead, make it a perspective of positive reinforcement. If you are able to make a routine you will be comfortable in doing your responsibilities without noticing the demanded pressure. A routine will help your stay focused and disciplined in times of crisis and challenges.
Provide time limits for doing tasks
Be firm when giving an allowable time limit to a particular task. Doing this will help you maximize your time in accomplishing more activities. This will also contribute to keeping your daily planning organized. With discipline, beating the time limit will surely put you ahead of the game.
Be at your best and seize the every opportunity to stay on track. Proper time management will always place you on top of life.

Time and activities can be planned out to the last minute so a person feels in control and organised. The problem with schedules is that unforeseen events and problems can wreak havoc with your time management. How do you go about managing your time while minimising the damage from such events? Such things can range from the simple, such as it rained on a sunny day and now I have to go change before I go to the meeting, to a sick child that needs you to leave now and pick him up. Solutions therefore range from the simple, as in always carry an umbrella, to the complicated as in make sure some else always has information on your critical tasks. Nobody can plan for everything, but considering unforeseen events can help you manage your time by lessening their impact.
The first step is to consider what kind of unscheduled problems may occur. If your day is made up of task performed in an office environment, how often are you likely to be interrupted with additional ad-hoc tasks? Nobody can work like a robot all the time so plan in time for breaks and extra jobs that may come up. Attempting to manage your time by filling it completely down to the last minute is likely to be counter productive since it does not factor in time for these unscheduled daily tasks we all have. If there are none during the day then you will still be able to fill your time by getting ahead with another task so the time will never be wasted.
Many people travel away from the office for meeting with clients or prospects etc. When travelling for a work event, find the exact travel time by getting directions from a web site such as Google Maps. Ensure that you check the route for road works, diversions and other problems. If you are not using a satellite navigation system then learn the route in advance and allow extra time in case you make any mistakes along the way. If using public transport such as the London Underground, check the line to make sure that all stations are open and there are no other running problems. Do not forget to take into account the time of day as rush hour and school run times will be busier. It may be worth planning alternative routes in case you run into unforeseen problems. Always allow extra time for the journey, even if everything looks fine, as you never know when a traffic jam or other issue may occur. It is better to be half an hour early and wait than a minute late.
At some point there will inevitably be an unforeseen event that no amount of time management can properly plan for. A major problem such as a family emergency may seriously impact or halt your schedule altogether. It may be necessary to drop everything and leave. It is possible to minimise the damage by planning some time for creation of a back up plan. It is unlikely that another person will have the time or skills to simply step into your role. Instead, think about the vital things that would need to be done if you were not there. Schedule some time to document instructions and train another member of staff so that these critical tasks are not abandoned. Make sure you take a few minutes daily or weekly to fill this person in on what is happening in your schedule.
While it is impossible to plan for every unforeseen eventuality, managing time in this way can minimise the negative effects of such events. Including these considerations into your time management can prevent you getting a reputation for being late in person and performance. Sooner or later an unforeseen event will affect you in some way and it is therefore important to consider the possibility in advance.

Every one of us has 24 hours a day, and no one can have one minute more than others. But we can make good advantage of the time and make them productive.
Well. My friend said I was going crazy about time management. But I also have plan for leisure and travels. I only want to make good use of time, and make my work and life more effective.
Now I have collect something that you can do while watching TV. You may think it a good time for you to relax, but if you can make use of this time, you can find you don’t have so set aside time for other… well, trifle.
Do some housework.
Fold laundry - Plop the basket beside you and fold while you watch.
Iron - Drag the ironing board and iron out into the living room and turn that mundane task into something that’s a little more bearable.
Pack the dishwasher - It doesn’t take long and even if there is a pile you can do it over multiple breaks. Don’t have a dishwasher? No problem. Break one: Fill the sink with warm soapy water and let the dishes soak. Break two or three. Wash the dishes. After that dry them and put them away. Done.
Take out the garbage - Grab a garbage bag and go throughout the house emptying the smaller bins into it. Take the full bags outside to the garage or back door for garbage day.
Dust the furniture in the room you’re in - Grab a microfiber cloth, an old sock or damp rag and run it over all flat surfaces in the room. Get under the keyboard and the DVD player. Get the top of the TV, picture frames and the backs of your chairs.
Purge a drawer or filing cabinet - Choose a drawer that’s close to where you’re sitting and pull everything out of it. Toss or recycle what you don’t absolutely need and put items you no longer use, need or like in a pile to donate. Put the remaining items back in an organized manner.
Make your bed - Even if it’s half an hour before bed go and make it. It’s awesome getting into a bed that’s made the sheets pulled tight, comforter straightened and the pillows fluffed up a bit. Heaven.
Write out a meal plan for the week - Brainstorm some meal ideas for the coming week. You can take it a step further and create a list of go-to meals or meals you can make ahead and freeze.
Personal matters.
Give or get a massage - Lay on the couch or get on the floor with your significant other and give a back rub or foot massage. At each commercial break switch it up just to keep it fair.
Stretch - Get down on the floor and stretch your legs, your back, and your arms. You’ll feel great and if you’re an avid TV watcher I’m pretty confident your flexibility will improve in a matter of a few weeks.
Brainstorm for a new business, a holiday, or activities to do with the kids - Don’t filter ideas just write them down as they come to mind. Sometimes the best ideas come to us when we’re not focused on finding the best ideas.
Write out your Birthday cards or Christmas cards - Don’t wait until the last minute to get your cards done. For most of us it takes quite a bit of time, so doing even a few each evening can lighten the load.
Put pictures in a picture album - I’m sure I’m not the only one with a tub full of pictures that I don’t know what to do with. Grab the tub of photos and start putting them in photo albums. If you want to sort them first, use a few nights of TV watching to do just that.
Send a quick email - 2.5 to 3 minutes is usually long enough to get an email put together, if not you could get a good first draft started at least.
Read a few pages of your book or a blog post - Hit the mute button grab your book or fire up your feed-reader.
Write your to-do list - Give a bit of thought to what you’ll do tomorrow. Think about errands that need to be run, calls that need returning, gifts to be bought and what to have for dinner.
Choose clothes to wear tomorrow - Run to your room and decide what to wear tomorrow. Choose clothes that fit you well and that you feel great in.
Make a quick phone call - Call your mom, your sister, your brother or friend and make or confirm plans for tomorrow.
In a single coach outlet store, what you can find is not the products that make your outfit much more elegant and beautiful, and if you choose the coach outlet stores online, you will get more information about the discount fashion coach bags.

Even if you are a single-man operation, you need a reliable system of tracking your working hours. If you don’t do this how will you ever know if you are being as productive as possible? How will you know when things are getting too slack or when things are becoming a bit compulsive?
Time and attendance tracking software is the best solution to the problem. With these systems you can easily log your own working hours or have your employees log their working hours. This doesn’t take any time out of your day, doesn’t reduce the actual working time of your employees, and ensures that you always know exactly what is getting done in your business…and of course what isn’t getting done!
Even if your employees work from home or in other offices where you cannot physically see them throughout the day, you can use time and attendance software to keep track of them.
Ask yourself some simple questions about each of your current employees:
* What is the usual time that they come to work every day?
* How long do they usually take for lunch?
* What time do they usually leave work for the day?
* Are there times when they have to leave early for family or other obligations?
* Are you getting the most out of your money when you hand them a paycheck?
If you aren’t sure of any of these answers even for a single employee, then you can rest assured your answer to the last question is a resounding no. If you don’t know the regular working schedule of all employees you cannot be sure that they are working the full amount of hours they are paid to put in.
So, what type of time and attendance software is out there? Better yet, how do you access it quickly so you can start tracking your employees or even just tracking yourself?
There are a lot of different systems out there, but the best ones utilize a resource that practically everyone on earth has access to today: cell phones! These systems allow each of your employees to call a designated phone number to log in and out of work. This is the digital age’s version of the time clock.
This is the best type of time and attendance software because it is fast, simple, and readily available no matter where your employees are located.
The great thing is these systems give you instant access to detailed records showing when every employee has logged in and out. This makes it easy for you to figure up the paychecks or just monitor employees that you feel may not be as productive as they claim.
If you are using this type of system to monitor your own working hours, it is even more convenient. You always have your cell phone on you, right? It only takes a moment for you to quickly log in and out of the office. This is convenient and simple even if you are in and out of “work” mode off and on throughout the day.
Having the records easily accessible will reduce your paperwork, and come on, what small business owner doesn’t need that? Even if you are one-man show for the time being, you need some sort of tracking system to monitor your productivity!

You can actually monitor and time your sexual intercourse to be in sync with the most fertile time of the month. There are three ways to identify the most fertile days of your menstrual cycle and increase the likelihood of successfully starting a pregnancy. These three methods are natural ways of predicting the time for conception and answering the question ‘Are you fertile?’ You can monitor your fertility easily through the three fertility markers - namely the cervical fluid test, the cervical position identification and the basal body temperature.
You may want to know more about your vaginal secretions, since they often signify fertility. One of those secretions is the cervical mucus, which is obviously secreted by the cervix. During menstrual cycles, the cervical linings produce this substance in large quantities. But after menstruation, production is kept to a minimum, so little production that a woman literally feels ‘dry.’
Normally, the mucus is cloudy and thick. But in the middle of the cycle, it becomes clear, slippery and stretchy. Its consistency resembles that of an egg white. This usually occurs a day before ovulation and signifies the point at which you are most fertile.
You can check the mucus yourself so that you can actually feel and see the difference when the change occurs. You can do this by wiping your vagina before urination. Making sure your hands are washed and clean, gently place your fingers into the opening of your vagina and collect a portion of the mucus. Note the consistency, color and elasticity of the mucus. If the mucus stretches by spreading the fingers without breaking and is clear in color, it is a sign that you are fertile.
Another way to check the state of your fertility is to know the position of your cervix. Many women do not realize this, but the cervix does change its placement during your cycle. Start by checking its position at the end of the period and do this daily at the same time to track your fertile periods.
Normally, the cervix is in a low position at the start of the cycle. However, the cervix transfers to a much higher position just before and during ovulation. You can check the position of the cervix yourself by inserting the middle finger into the vagina. Identifying the cervix is rather easy since it feels like a rounded cylindrical mass of tissue.
Another way to answer the question ‘are you fertile’ is by measuring the basal body temperature (BBT). BBT is the body’s baseline temperature. Any increase in the temperature, even by half a Fahrenheit can indicate something about your fertility. BBT is normally lower at the earlier part of the cycle. On the day of the ovulation, the temperature increases slightly. It will then stay at that level until the start of the next cycle or continue to stay slightly elevated if you become pregnant.
The basal body temperature should be taken first thing in the morning before doing any activity, even before getting out of bed. An oral thermometer can be used. This should be done with the utmost care to get the desired results. Taking a quick sip of water will clearly throw off your result. Chart your results and overtime you will begin to see the natural fluctuations of your body’s temperature as you go through your cycle and be better able to help determine when you are most fertile.
So now that you know three ways to help determine if you are fertile or not, using one alone can bring you success in getting pregnant, but using two or all three of the methods together may further increase your odds. The better in tune you are with your body and the changes that occur throughout your cycle, the more prepared you will be to answer that all-important question, “Am I fertile right now and can I get pregnant?”
Best of luck!

Being able to manage your life appropriately can make thing a lot easier for you. Time management products will help you to organize the tasks you need to complete on a daily basis. This will ensure that everything is done well before it needs to be. There are many different products for personal organization that will assist you with being sure that you get necessary things done on a daily basis.
Organizers are a great idea, especially if you need to keep track of a lot of different tasks. Many people use these to keep track of family things, as well as things for school, college, or their job. You can choose to get a small notebook to record the tasks and assignments you need to complete, or purchase a special planner that is designed to hold this information. When you begin using time management products, it may be more beneficial to choose an item that geared more toward personal organization than a simple notebook.
Make sure that you choose a daily planner that offers you various sections to store information. You will want pages that display monthly calendars, as well as individual areas to write down day-to-day tasks. Contact information can also be stored within many organizers. If you need to keep phone numbers handy, it is a good idea to get a planner that includes such a section. Some planners also offer templates that will help you organize the information you place into the book, such as having pages specifically for lists.
Speaking of lists, time management products should have a scheduling area where you can write down everything you need to do for a given day. If necessary, you can also set a specific time frame in which to complete the tasks. This is beneficial for assignments that come with tight deadlines. You will want to avoid waiting until the last minute to complete the tasks, so having a time frame set well in advance of the due date will help you get things completed in a timely manner.
Along with a planner, you may want to keep an erasable calendar in your home. This will help you display everything that needs to be done by your and your family. If you have children, this is a great reminder for practices, school events, and other important things that you do not want to forget. Calendars like this can also be used to assign household chores, and to make sure that everyone does their assigned task on certain days to keep the home in order.
Time management products can help you get everything you need to do in a reasonable amount of time. This will help to eliminate unnecessary stress and rushing around at the last minute. Personal organization is a great skill to master, as it will allow you to keep your life in order and present your best work in the assignments you complete.
At Planners and Whiteboards we offer a variety of planners, whiteboards and time management products to assist you in all your organizational, planning and creative needs.

There is one school of thought in time management training that will say that one task needs to be done at a time. This is so the person can give full focus and attention to the task and finish it to a high standard. I am certainly not arguing with that! Many people believe that multi-tasking is just not possible. There is however, a place for multi-tasking when it is appropriate. It is not about trying to complete two complex tasks at the same time, but more about fitting two simpler tasks around each other.
Without necessarily realising it, most people have multi-tasked at some point in their lives even if they have not truly considered it. Have you ever been on the phone to mum while cooking the pasta for dinner? Have you ever been eating your toast while looking at the internet with the TV on in the background? Have you ever been reading a book while cleaning your teeth? If you have done this or other similar things together then you have already tried multi-tasking. Becoming proficient at multi-tasking is about honing these skills and learning what should and should not be multi-tasked.
When I had my young children I found that there was no other option but to multi-task if I wanted to get everything done. The baby would be in his high chair eating his toast and drinking milk while I sang songs and raced about the kitchen doing the washing up and putting the laundry on, often while having the dinner cooking on the stove. Playing with my child with the potatoes, while I was peeling them for dinner was not uncommon. When my first child was very small I would strap him to my front in a pouch and do the oakey-kokey while doing the hovering. I learned valuable skills which have allowed me to multi-task now I am back at work.
Learning to multi-task is about looking at the list of tasks you have to do and their priority. You then need to think of little things that can be fitted around other things. There are some tasks that do not lend themselves to multi-tasking. For example, I could not work on this article while making tea or painting the bedroom. Some things simply need your undivided attention.
One task that can be scheduled around other things is printing. If you need to print various things then set the printing to start and work on some other task while the printing is happening. This will avoid possible useful down time. It would be wasteful to sit by the printer waiting for the jobs to finish when you have other things you could be getting on with.
There are some people that truly find multi-tasking impossible. Those people are usually much happier doing one thing at a time and that is perfectly acceptable. For other people who would like to improve their productivity via multi-tasking then give it a go. Make sure that you do not try and completely overwhelm yourself or this will become counter-productive. As humans we can only handle so much and trying to fit three complicated tasks into the same time slot will simply make you burn out. We cannot fully concentrate on more than one thing at once and may make mistakes.
Consider how you can multi-task. What tools can help you multi-task? How can simply changing the way you do something be more efficient? If I wanted to learn a foreign language, but do not have time because I like to go to the gym after work then this would be a problem. I cannot read while on the running machine. Changing the way I learn may help. For example I could get language tapes and listen to them while I run.
The key is to perform more than one simple task together. Do not attempt to write a project proposal while painting your toe nails! Do try to do the washing up in between cooking the diner. Do not try to programme a database while holding a sales call in a foreign language! Do try to bind the final reports while waiting for a file to load. Most of all if you find that something is not working then stop and give one task your full attention. Things which could be dangerous if you do not give them your full attention such as driving a car should never be multi-tasked.
